DEEP BLACK

From the symbolic constellations that score our earthly wanderings, worked in earlier works, the look now focuses on the amazing images that the more refined technology takes away from the dark depths of the stellar universe, under the appearance of galactic conformations, beyond the solar system. Some galaxies which, for a short time, become visible by the passage of light through technological means, are manipulated until they appear to be floating, trapped in small glass and wood boxes, held at the height of the observer by a wall (primitive construction, elemental order, eternal and anachronistic in earthly terms) in order to be perceived and leading us to inquire on the origins of the self-being and the existence of man facing the universe.

For someone who is willing to see it, you will find that a face reflection melts with the stars that we once were and that we will be again soon after the short-lived exhalation of our existences, compared with the time extension of an expanding universe, which however, also tends to light off as stars extinguish one by one and everything becomes deep darkness.
